Exhaust Hoods & Ventilation Systems

A grease-choked exhaust hood is a massive fire hazard and a fast track to failing a fire marshal inspection. Traditional power washing creates a massive, contaminated water mess in your kitchen.

Dry ice blasting strips heavy grease buildup inside the canopy, filters, and ductwork. Because the dry ice sublimates on impact, the only thing that falls is the hardened grease, which is easily swept up.

The Four-Stage
Blast Cycle.

Solid CO₂ pellets are accelerated through a high-pressure nozzle. On impact they sublimate — turning back into a gas — and lift contaminants off the surface in three simultaneous physical effects.

Kinetic

The pellets hit grease at supersonic speed, fracturing the surface bond like a sandblast — without abrading the substrate.

Thermal

−109°F flash-freezes the contaminant, embrittling it so it shears cleanly away from the metal beneath.

Sublimation

The pellets vaporize on contact — expanding 800× their volume. The pressure wave lifts everything out of pores and seams.

Sweep

Only the contaminant is left on the floor. No solvent, no rinse water, no secondary waste stream.
